Sun's only one step ahead, only one breath
One breath to the next, the river said
With arms of the highest of clouds, running down from my mouth
By the water you will be blessed
Allow me to paint a picture using your mixture
You can expect a river filled with emptiness
And the sky moving hope through my breast, arrows of red
Penetrate with my strength

And I will let my heart do the sun's work,
When it's hurting I lay hope to the ground
Dirt speaks in a rhythm with the setting stars
I am a planet, and though the spinning feels too fast
We can dream, but it never keeps me delicate
Reach down to my shadow and surrender it
Carry with me all the colours in the gallery,
Oh this humanity is stepping out to balance me
And it's like, when the heat grows, and I've got no day
And my memory's telling me of another way
Of healing, of freedom, soul seeking only stole my soul away when my mind stars to fray
But I've got time, I've got light
The sun is gonna be on my side
And I look at the river and I can't see the ground,
And I think ooh.. what a joy I've found
