A handful of improvised sketches I recorded on location in a woodland, urban tunnel, and beach. This was part of a research project for my BA (Hons) Songwriting dissertation. I explored embodiment in place and connection with nature through improvisational music - looking at sound opportunities, the experience of vocalising in reverberant spaces, and how the intuitive mind responds to the feeling of place through singing and playing.
