Inside a hand of mine You'll find a thousand lines All of the endless stories untold, All the times I've tried We're all a scattering Of love and broken things So when the sunrise comes for you be sure to sing If time meets time, maybe he would ask him for a little more and time beats life, you've gotta lay it down, extract your story I might ease my frail head and lay my thoughts all down to sleep But when the morning comes to get me I'll be on my feet And oh, you can't hide from sunlight forever Make a hole in your heart and call some in now You play the cards open up your skin now And oh, you can't hide from sunlight forever Make a hole in your heart and call some in now You play the cards, open up your skin now So what keeps your head in the clouds When the world on your shoulders won't stop pushing you down Like there's a limit to the daylight, don't cry This will all come back around We feel with our insides Faces never shining up enough that skin gets some of that dim light Sometimes our insight walks the thin line but You'll find your delight only in time and if time meets time, maybe he would ask him for a little more and time beats life, you've gotta lay it down, extract your story I might ease my frail head and lay my thoughts all down to sleep But when the morning comes to get me I'll be on my feet And oh, you can't hide from sunlight forever Make a hole in your heart and call some in now You play the cards open up your skin now And oh, you can't hide from sunlight forever Make a hole in your heart and call some in now You play the cards, open up your skin now

Sowilo 05:15
Sowilo, Sowilo As above so below Sowilo, Sowilo Move me slow Sun's only one step ahead, only one breath One breath to the next, the river said With arms of the highest of clouds, running down from my mouth By the water you will be blessed Allow me to paint a picture using your mixture You can expect a river filled with emptiness And the sky moving hope through my breast, arrows of red Penetrate with my strength Sowilo, Sowilo As above so below Sowilo, Sowilo Move me slow I will paint my love on the pavement I will paint my love on the pavement I will paint my love, I will paint my love, and brave it And I will let my heart do the sun's work, When it's hurting I lay hope to the ground Dirt speaks in a rhythm with the setting stars I am a planet, and though the spinning feels too fast We can dream, but it never keeps me delicate Reach down to my shadow and surrender it Carry with me all the colours in the gallery, Oh this humanity is stepping out to balance me And it's like, when the heat grows, and I've got no day And my memory's telling me of another way Of healing, of freedom, soul seeking only stole my soul away when my mind stars to fray But I've got time, I've got light The sun is gonna be on my side And I look at the river and I can't see the ground, And I think ooh.. what a joy I've found Sowilo, Sowilo.... I will paint my love on the pavement..... Sowilo, as above so below Do you know When the lights go out Will you be able to see so? Sowilo, as above so below Do you know When the lights go out Will you be able to see so, just breathe oh Sowilo, Sowilo...

Cinnamon-tickled sinning with a fickle fin in the thin ocean of dusk Sitting in fission, dripping, trickle into the vision of what we can trust Picking the flowers of living and giving a limb to the elders of dust itching magician, go fishing for pieces of shadow I must Folk come to awaken Ghosts with a thousand faces I am brutally naked Searching for flowers in the stream Down into the city, so dark and so pretty, insidious lust Out of the ashes they crash in, so tantalising in hysterical crush Nails and ink, we sail and sink til the metals all melt into rust Way down, go fishing for pieces of shadow we must Folk come to awaken Ghosts with a thousand faces I am brutally naked Searching for flowers in the stream And ooh, we cross the line Through madness and time

Silver and green on the water Come rest your bones with me And I can sing us to serenity Baby rest with me Let's find the sun In eachother's arms I gathered all the sky for you to see If we're high enough to dream We could join the clouds it seems And I've found Each and every second if you just put it down Sings songs to me with ease Silver and green on the water Come rest your bones with me And I can sing us to serenity Baby rest with me Why waste time? We are cursed with laziness and lullabies But time is only up our sleeves If we could all just let it be We could kiss the twilight And we've no patience for the way round the water We've all gotta find a solution of living in the way we oughta But for now let's catch some sleep Silver and green on the water Come rest your bones with me And I can sing us to serenity Baby rest with me

about

An acoustic EP dreamed up over the autumn, drawing inspiration from the flamenco-playing pixies of Madrid, the wonderful English countryside, cuddles, the human experience of shadow-fishing in the depths of the psyche and the ancient runes of Northern Europe.
All songs recorded in one grey day, in a chilly and wonderful barn in mid Devon.
